In April of 2022, the Board of Directors of Washington Golf engaged Club Benchmarking to facilitate the development of a strategic plan.


The work included phone interviews with representatives of the executive committee, Board of Directors, committee members, club representatives, tournament players, senior staff and other key staff.


In addition, Club Benchmarking conducted a written survey of members of the Board of Directors, committee members, tournament players, members and other staff who had not been interviewed by phone.


Of those who replied to the written survey, tenure (mean) as a Washington Golf member was 18 years. The mean age was 57 and the respondent group was 44% female and 56% male.
